Kaowinston Plants 1 auctions

Welcome to Kaowinston Plants. My name is Winston, and I have been a plant lover years.  The business of selling plants was started about six years, and I regard it as part-time. My history is short, selling a few plants from home, and in the last few years selling on Ebay.  Now is the time for me to branch out, aand here I am on EBID.

Most of the plants I sell, I grow from seeds or cuttings.  Sometimes, I purchase a few specimen plants from specialist nurseries on the continent.

Although I have a profound interest in all kinds of plants, my favourite plants are succulents including a wide rage of cacti.   I am particularly interested in the Pereskia species which I do sell.  I am also attracted to the new generation of caudiciforms, especially plants coming out of Madagascar.

Things I sell
pereskias, baobabs, jathropas, opuntias, adeniums, pachypodiums, uncarinas, aloes, cacti, euphorbias, caudiciforms, agaves, hoodias, hoyas, olive trees and tropical plants.

Things I buy
rare pereskias, caudiciforms, seeds, cacti, adeniums and tropical plants.

Things I collect
Cacti and succulents, art books, travel literature.

I use to work full time in education, but now I only work partime.  The rest of my time is taken up with my other hobby, travelling.

About the business........
Payment policy
Would prefer most sellers to us the Paypal system, but would accept cheques or postal orders in the UK. For foreign orders, Paypal is the accepted form of payment.

Delivery information
Delivery in three/four days is the norm for all customers. Of course, all this still depends on the effectiveness of the Post Office. Depending on where you live, some customers get their package in one day, since I do not charge extra for quick delivery.

Return policy
Generally, I do not accept returns. But that does not mean you cannot complain. I always send a note to my customers that state very clearly if there is a problem, please let me know. In extreme cases, I will gladly refund payment for damaged or lost goods, or if I am found lacking.

In the last eigthteen months, I have developed a great interest in Agaves. I am currently growing loads of them hoping customers also be interested. Before now, I aways deem them too large to bother, but now I realise there are quite a lot of agaves of reasonable size.

Will update this profile as I go along. Remember this is my first week of EBID.

Winston James
