Steve and I (Julie) bought Rivermead Holidays 10 years ago.
Having replaced the old caravans 4 years ago, we haven't looked back. With just 6 caravans and 1 chalet we manage the park between the two of us. We live on the park, so are always here to greet our guests, show them into the accommadation and answer any questions they may have.
Our customer base has grown year after year with many repeat customers.
Rivermead Holidays is a small, tranquil site in the moorland village of St Breward, Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. It is in easy walking distance of The Old Inn, Village stores and Post Office (internet cafe). The moors are on the doorstep with great walks and spectacular scenery. The nearest beach on the north coast is just 11 miles away, making us an ideal base for touring the whole of Cornwall.
We accept dogs in 3 of our lets. (please note we do not allow dogs to be left in the accommodation unattended). One of our 4 berth caravans is set in its own gated walled garden, our chalet also has a gated courtyard, both are very popular with our customers with dogs.
Two 6 berth caravans - One of which we allow dogs = One double bedroom + a second bedroom with twin beds which can be made into a double if required + a double sofa bed in the lounge
Four 4 berth caravans - Two of which we allow dogs (one set in its own gated walled garden) = One double bedroom + a double sofa bed in the lounge
Chalet (has a gated courtyard, dogs allowed) = One double bedroom + a double sofa bed in the lounge. A single Zbed is also available if required. Sleeping 4 + 1
£60 per week deposit required to secure a booking with the balance due one month before the commencement of your holiday. Payable via Cheque, BACs or Paypal. If you should have to cancel, providing that we can relet it, we will refund your money minus any ebid/paypal fees incurred.
