Some details about me

Hello.........

I used to sell on another well known site (100% feedback) with many regular buyers and was recommended by a friend to come over to eBid - have been selling on here for over 3 years and it has been a very enjoyable experience.  I have sold over 6,000 items on eBid.

If there are any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Over the years I have built up a huge collection of postcards, many handed down from family.  I have now decided to start being a little more specific in my collections so auction sites are a good way for me to pass on items that someone may collect or need.  Gradually as time permits the listings will increase..........

The aim of this shop is be eclectic - a bit of everything for everyone.....

Frequently asked questions:

When will you send my item?  I always post within 48 hours of payment (usually next day) with the exception of weekends of course.  I pack items as securely as possible using padded envelopes and inserting thick cardboard for support.

Do you combine postage? One single postage payment of £0.90 for as many as you want, provided they are paid on the same invoice.  90p is the price of a large letter stamp (Royal Mail price went up in April 2014 by 3p - but I buy in advance so 90p will remain for a while) and with extremely secure packaging all of my postcards are posted via large letter - so postage is at cost.

Is that a real Tiger? Yes

Will you send me an invoice combining postage?  You can now use the Multiple Instant Checkout facility which will auto combine postage - simply use 'Buy it Now' on the cards that you want and once you have finished you can use the Checkout facility to pay for them all with the combined postage rate.  Of course if you would prefer to have an invoice then that is absolutely no problem - I will send one through.

Is the Tiger dangerous?  All Tigers are potentially dangerous, however as long as they are well fed and you don't turn your back on them then all 'should' be ok.

Do you post worldwide?  Technically no., but if you live outside of the UK and you do happen to see something you really want then by all means ask me if you can buy.  Please don't be insulted if I say 'no', the UK sales are extremely busy so keeping worldwide sales restricted is necessary due to time.  Hopefully in the future I can make enough time to gradually open up to the world.

What payment methods do you accept? Paypal, cheque or postal order, whichever you prefer.

Where does the Tiger live?  (Sigh) He lives in Thailand near the Myanmar (Burmese) border.  He was rescued and taken in by monks after being badly mistreated.

How many more postcards do you have to list?  Far too many is probably a good answer!!

So you have been in Thailand with the Tiger, where else have you been in the world?  A few places....  Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Myanmar, most of Europe, North Africa.  I have worked in Japan, Australia and the USA.  Generally I like the out of the way places rather than tourist hot spots.

I have specific postcards or theme's that I am looking for but I see you don't have any?  By all means send me any lists or requests you have as I do have a lot of postcards that will take years to sort out - many collectors send me their lists so if anything turns up I can get in contact and tell them when the item will be listed on eBid.

Infrequently asked questions:

How long do I have to pay?  I am quite relaxed and easy going about payment dates - if there is going to be a delay of payment for a couple of weeks or so then just let me know, its not a problem.

Returns Policy:

I am responsible for my listings so if in any way I have not described something as I should have then return the item for a full refund - every effort is made to get things right, hence scans of front and back so you know exactly what you are buying.

If you simply don't want the item and want to return it then I will offer a refund minus postage costs on return of the item(s) this is valid for 7 working days after receipt of the item. I think overall my policy is fair for all - and there has never been a problem so far. In the first instance please contact me.
