My eBid history

My history here on eBid is very much as a buyer and forum user so far. This is not to say that I don't have an extensive history in selling, just that much of it has been elsewhere until recently. I have also had many years experience selling in shops, markets, car-boot sales and even door-to-door.

It is my belief that sellers should treat people in the manner they would want to be treated as buyers. I intend to offer that same high level of service. If at any time you think I, as a seller, am falling short of that goal, feel free to contact me and we can see what can be done to improve things.

Please note that unless specifically stated in the auction, I DO NOT accept bids from outside the UK.

If you DON'T live in the UK, then please DO NOT BID.

If you do bid, and you win the auction, expect to be charged a significant extra handling fee over and above the auction costs.

Information I need from you

When sending your payment:

Include your name, your eBid ID, the auction title, the auction number, your E-mail address AND your postal address.

Failure to send this information may result in delays mailing your auction win/s.

NEVER just send a cheque on its own and expect me to know who it is from or which auction it is for.

Sorry, collection of auction item/s is NOT an option.

Cheques / Postal orders

Allow at least 7 working days for cheques to clear.

Ensure you have enough funds to cover your cheque. Bounced cheques, or cheques returned by the bank for any reason, will incur an extra handling charge of £5.00.

I do NOT accept PayPal e-cheques or cheques which are not from a UK bank.

 Feedback

I will always leave feedback.  Normally this will happen as soon as I receive your payment - or the goods from an auction that I have won.

If feedback has not been left after 21 days, please send a polite E-mail reminder.

Forwarded E-mails

Busy Ebidders tend to add lots of people to their address books. If you are one of these people and you have my address listed, NEVER forward ANY E-mail to me that tells you to "Forward this mail to everyone in your address book".  These E-mails are usually HOAXES and should be checked out thoroughly : at Symantec or somewhere similar.

Auction Images

In the vast majority of cases, the auction images I use are either pictures or scans I have taken of the actual item which is on offer. Any damage to the item will usually be shown, so please examine the images carefully and be aware of what you are bidding on.  Extra images can usually be supplied on request, but please ensure that you leave 48 hours before the end of the auction if you request some.
