Who are we and what do we do?
Set up in 2009, Storm Engraving specialises in producing items using state-of-the-art laser cutting and engraving technology. Working with a range of materials from wood and slate to laminated acrylic and ordinary acrylic, we can quickly produce one-off or multiple items to suit a range of needs. These can be cut to shapes, letters or numbers and can also be engraved with standard or personalised wording.
We can cut and engrave material up to 18" x 12" (roughly 450mm x 300mm). We tend to purchase our stock in large sheets and cut them down to an approximate size before placing it in the machine, so we tend to have a large stock holding ready for any customer needs.
We have been supplying our items to a range of people and businesses from individual clients who want a one off order to small and large businesses where hundreds of items are required. We count wedding companies, driving schools, wood model makers, artists, baby gift businesses, printers, hardware and pet stores, event organisers and many more as our proud customers.
We are based in Raunds, Northamptonshire and pride ourselves in processing all orders in-house so you can be assured of a professional service; working to a very high standard and producing top quality products.
So, where have you been selling?
Well, from the start we utulised the other ecommerce auction site to sell our items and have been very successful. We've made over 14000 transactions with our customers, many of whom are repeat buyers. We are new to eBid however as we are trying to spread our wings and offer value for money for anyone wishing to use this site.
What is your dispatch policy on eBid?
Quite simple really. As the items we offer to sell on here are either made from our own ready made templates or ready packaged, we will generally have your order ready for dispatch the same or next working day (depending on time purchased and our workloads). We can't really say fairer than that.
Orders are typically sent out 1st class so you should expect delivery within 1-3 days from our dispatch. Please allow time for your package to arrive and remember that we are in the hands of a third party so cannot guarantee delivery dates. We understand the frustration of a delayed delivery and if your item hasn't arrived within 10 days from date of dispatch (having allowed the delivery company a reasonable amount of time), please contact us and we'll be happy to help.
What is your returns policy on eBid?
Again, quite simple. For our standard items, from the day after delivery you have up to 14 days to change your mind. If for any reason you don't want your item within that period, simply return it to us along with your eBid user id and we will give you a full refund. All we ask is that you return it in its original condition and packaging at your own cost.
For items that you require us to personalise above and beyond our standard template, these are exempt from our cancellation policy as they are classed as bespoke items.
For faulty or damaged items, simply message us with the details and we'll be happy to help.

Unfortunately, owing to the noise of the machines and the importance of monitoring them whilst in operation, it's not practical to answer phone calls. We do however monitor our emails and messages frequently throughout the day and if you need to contact us, just send drop us a message. We will answer them very quickly, usually the same or next working day and if you haven't heard from us within 2 working give us a nudge - either your message hasn't reached us or our reply hasn't reached you.
