Who is Red Classic Hifi?

 

All the manuals I sell are collector quality manufacturer originals. If you can't find the manual you are looking for in my shop please contact me. I have been collecting them for over 35 years, so it will take months to list them all. If I have what you are looking for I will create a listing just for you; if not, I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi! My name is James and I have been buying, collecting, using and disposing of hifi since I was a young buck. And that was a very long time ago. When I was a lad Hobbits still roamed the countryside, getting drunk and causing endless trouble by refusing to return jewellery gained in doubtful circumstances to its rightful owner.

So it's fair to say I have been a slave to audio for quite a while.

In fact, Hifi is beyond a hobby for me. In truth it’s way past the dictionary definition of 'obsession'. And like any bad habit its ruinously expensive. So I recently decided to sell my service manual collection to feed my addiction: "Come on man, just give me one more 2A3. I'm oscillating here..."

It will take a while to list them all but in the meantime if you urgently require a particular manual please contact me. Providing I have the item in question I will create a listing just for you!

The Manuals I Sell.. .

► All my manuals are genuine 'Ink on Paper' originals. No CD's, Scans or PDF's. Ever .

l primarily sell these manuals as interesting collectables. You should understand that all electrical equipment has deadly voltages 'under the hood'. You must NEVER open the covers unless you are a trained, qualified and competent engineer. Anyway, a Service Manual is like a road map; it helps the engineer understand the circuits and construction of a unit. Its absolutely no use at all as a 'step by step' guide to repair for the layman.

Payment Terms and Shipping

► Almost all my sales are 'Buy it Now' and for UK buyers the postage cost is included in the asking price.

The 'Buy it Now' price is the price you pay, including delivery within the UK. You can instantly see what you are getting and exactly what you are going to pay for it.

International orders carry a postage and packing charge, as stated on the listing.

In return, I ask UK buyers for payment by Paypal, cheque, postal order or direct bank transfer. International buyers can pay by Paypal or direct bank transfer. Your manual is dispatched by first-class post or Airmail small packets within 24 hours of receiving cleared payment. 

Returns Policy

► All sales are final. Sorry, I do not accept returns on the manuals I sell.

I want you to be happy with your purchase so I describe the manuals as honestly as possible. However, its a fact of life that manuals are easily copied, so I do not accept returns. If you have any doubts or questions, ask me before you buy .

Delivery is my responsibility. If your order fails to arrive within 15 working days (Post Office rules, not mine) I will issue a refund, no questions asked. (Well, maybe a few questions asked...)

Please note I ship high-value orders by registered post. In these cases if there is no signature on file I will issue a full refund.
