As a third generation Antiques & Collectables Dealer and Collector I have "bred into me" the do's and don't's of this industry and was brought up surrounded by Objè De Art from the world over and thus learnt to appreciate REAL quality items as opposed to those that may look the part but when put to the ultimate test of whether they are the genuine article or not, fail miserably! In our new E-Bids Shop: The E-Bids Antiques and Collectors Corner, we NEVER sell anything unless we are 100% certain that it is exactly what we are representing it as. In my eyes, those that call just any item of colored Art Glass: "Murano" are misrepresenting the product they are selling and have absolutely no ethics. I am also a Licensed Insurance Valuer in the field and so always have my finger on the pulse of the latest market trends and even the slightest changes in prices or even market preference.
