We started in 1994 selling on our local market stall before branching out into making our own products. D & K Candles is a relatively new company and has grown online from strength to strength with our own website. Galdrakona is the trading name of Karen's Botanicals, making superior quality simmering granules and offering fragrances for around the home. Njordic Candles is the sister company of D & K Candles, which produces our highly fragranced wax melts and scented soy jar candles as well as our Purely Natural Range. These have all been compared to the brand names most people know and have been found to be among the best in the UK and around the world, with lots of emails and feedback elsewhere recommending our products and services.

Our candles are hand made to order to ensure quality of colour and fragrance so that you will always receive a beautifully crafted candle every time, and can guarantee that none of our candles are sitting around our shelves for more than 5 days.

D & K Candles are made with a vegetable wax blend or pure soy and use only unbleached cotton wick, pure essential oils, and botanicals oils to fragrance our products. Our candles ensure a smoke free and sootless burn, have a longer burn time that paraffin wax and our waxes come from ethical suppliers and are fair trade and from sustainable resources. They are kinder to the environment, kinder to you and your home or surroundings and are all solid colour throughout, we do not overdip any of our candles.

D & K Candles supply the wedding trade, corporate events, hotels, places of worship, private functions, and for personal use. Ideal for gifts, weddings and hand fastings, birthdays, anniversaries, parties, dinner parties and all other celebrations.

We are a small family run business which does help to keep our costs down and be able to pass this on to our customers.
