Born in Essex in the UK in the 1930's I am what is known as a "Silver Surfer". Trained as a professional Mechanical Engineer, I have worked in several industries as a Management Consultant,run my own business for many years. You may have seen me on TV in 'Antiques Road Show', 'Money for Old Rope'(BBC2) and the Learning Zone.

One of the first UK based traders to achieve Powerseller status on EbayUK some 12 years ago, I have at last decided to join Ebid after seeing the erosion of the principles established by Pierre back in 1995. Too many sellers are now being pushed to the point where they must abandon their thriving businesses.

I live both in the UK and in Brittany, France, with my fiancee Anthea. A creative person, she loves the buzz of selling, had an antique business in the U.K, and now enjoys selling on the Internet with me.

So...who's that in the picture? Henry, our Weimarana. Like us, he loves finding treasure, (in his case, old bones) In ours,vintage Hardy fly rods,Prattware pot-lids,silverware,Hornby locomotives,and the best of both old and modern jewellery.

Should also mention Henry has a penchant for French 'frites' (chips), banana splits and is not averse to some decent French wine to wash it all down. Oh, and he just loves muddy ponds and hunting for interesting things.
