Abtec Industries is a supplier of grinding, cutting, sanding and polishing products to the aerospace, automotive, woodworking, engineering and construction industries. In 2003 abrasive wheel training was added to its portfolio of services. Since that time over 5,000 operators have been trained by Abtec in the safe and efficient use of cutting and grinding wheels and discs with clients that include BAE Systems, McLaren Racing, The Bank of England and GlaxoSmithKline. 
Since 2007 Abtec has been working closely with Tyrolit, a leading manufacturer of precision grinding and cutting wheels that include a cooler cutting range of wheels suited to specialist internal, cylindrical, crankshaft and profile grinding applications. Tyrolit super-thin high efficiency discs are ideal for cutting most steels including stainless and are available in diameters 100mm (4”), 115mm (4 1/2”), 125mm (5”) and 230mm (9”).
