Fabulous quality hardback copy of 'Marcus Aurelius' published by George Bell and Sons in 1904. The book is printed on very good quality paper which is hand cut and gilt edged at the top. The boards are also lined with marbled paper. The boards are half leatherbound with purple cloth and there is a ridged spine with gilt tooling. A bit of wear to the edges, with a pencilled owner's name inside, and some light foxing to the page ends but otherwise in good condition for age. Length 16.5cms, width 10cms, 287 pages.
