A Beautiful plate with an intricate sgriffito design of fish and a flower in pinks and blues with a deep blue checked design on the base. It is a bit of a mystery as it has the weight of a pottery plate yet it is made from a very smooth material. I think it might possibly be bakelite but I'm not sure ? In good condition just a couple of little scratches on the rim. Would look stunning as a wall decoration. Width 23.5cms.
