1908 Sketch map of Belgium & Holland from Omond book

Turn of the Century sketch map ready for mounting & framing, or craft projects.

This charming map is taken from "Belgium", written by GWT Omond and published in 1908, and has been carefully trimmed ready for mounting and framing, or for your chosen craft project - scrapbooking, decoupage, montage, card-making, whatever you like. It was contained in the book in folded form, so there is a fold line roughly a third from left edge. The edges are also a little creased since it is printed on quite thin paper and is not overly robust. Will be carefully packed! 

As an original page from a hardback book, this print has a certain "patina", as you'd expect, with the possibility of sunning and very light marking, as shown. The image is shown against a digital "virtual" dark mount for impact and framing ideas, and bears an electronic watermark "by Kimbo!" which does not appear on the original.

For those, like me, who hate to think of books being butchered, please rest assured that this volume died of old-age and natural causes. It was completely disintegrating and I like to think it will achieve some form of resurrection by being recycled in this way.
