Auction Description

Ribbon Plate - "Mother"

An attractive Ribbon Plate marked on base 'H.C.F. London Foreign'. I believe that H.C.F. stands for one of the London Christian Fellowships.

The 'spiked' rim edge is highlighted in gold, and the centre of the plate carries a Poem to 'My Mother's everlasting love', with a pretty floral embellishment.

Dimensions: 7.1/4 inches (184mm) maximum diameter.

The edge of the raised base has two small pierced holes to facilitate hanging.

This item had been kept in a china cabinet, and has not been hung. Nevertheless it is in as new condition - no chips, cracks, crazing or nibbles whatsoever.
