Condition: Fairly good for its age. 2 small black marks on front (on bend in wall, see photo), some tiny white marks, edges rubbed and corners damaged, very small tear at bottom edge (by 'N' of Aberglaslyn), back has age browning and couple of marks at left edge.

Comment: A very old Postcard. This Elmer Keene (signed in bottom left corner) picture is typical of his painting,  and depicts the Aberglaslyn Pass before the turn of the 19th Century (probably around the 1870s). Today, there are old cottages on both sides of the road from beyond the shepherd in the picture to the foreground. Although the condition is not good, the card is of much nostalgic and historic interest. The back of the card is printed 'Giant View Card per halfpenny post' and has the trademark of E.T.W.Denis. This card is larger than A4 size and thus my scanner has not shown one-eighth inch that includes the right hand edge. Please ask if you want a scan showing the right edge - no problem.
