Hi, I'm so sorry to do this, but I've just found out that Australian Foxtel has made some changes to their satellite service and as a result, this smart card reader won't be useful to me until someone finds a way to resolve this technical issue. There's some info on the issue here: ... o/satellite-tv- general/57976-foxtel- changes-affecting- third-party- receivers.html Could I ask that we cancel this transaction until this issue with Foxtel is resolved? I promise I'll buy the device off you when that happens... I hope you understand. Cheers, John

I wasn't even looking at doing anything illegal. I just wanted to run Foxtel (Sky TV) to my own custom PVR! They (Foxtel) have completely stuffed the ability to do this now since their smartcards can't be read from anything other than an "offical" foxtel PVR... That is until someone finds a work around... :o) Thanks for understanding and hopefully I'll be back soon to buy one of these smartcard readers when a fix is found. Cheers, John
