Wonderful feline looking very comfortable curled up asleep ! This sculpture is entitled 'Marmaduke' and was made by the artist Paul Jenkins who trained at Dudley College of Art. It is now a retired piece and no longer available on the Frith website so quite hard to get hold of. I think it is made from a resin with a bronze finish and it has a felted base to prevent scratching. It still has it's label. It has one tiny chip on its paw and a little surface rub on the right ear, reflected in price. Still a beautiful little cat. Width at base 9.5cms x 8cms.
