Wonderful double tier egg holder made from cast iron and painted with a pale blue enamel paint. It is marked on the base 'Victor RW England'. Robert Welch M.B.E. started off as a designer for Old Hall tableware in 1955 and was awarded Royal Designer for Industry in 1965. Victor cookware no longer produce this item. It has a small patch of chipped paint, please see photo, and some rust spotting but still a lovely shabby chic item. Height approx' 27cms, width approx' 15cms.
