Condition : Excellent. Although new, there is a small stain, size of 20p piece, on the top of page edges seen when book closed. Otherwise it is unread and as new.
My Comments : A female war correspondent loses her cameraman in Bosnia which deeply affects her, and she agrees to a year's sabbatical, which she takes as a visiting fellowship at Oxford. But rather than a quiet retreat from the world, she becomes embroiled in a group of animal activists, and has to deal with the chauvanism of her colleagues. Her relationship with a travel writer forces her to re-assess what she wants from men and from life.
