Condition : Good. Black cloth bound with gilt lettering on spine, black end papers (a little dusty from storage). Title page and Preface missing (does not detract from usefulness of the book) - starts at Chapter One. Dust cover itself has some tears (repaired) but has protected the book from any damage.
Narrative extract : "The nicest home furnishings are those you make yourself ... all the basic information you need, plus instructions for making dozens of items in varying styles to suit everyone, young and old, modern and traditional."
My Comments : A well-maintained book. Sections on Equipment, Stitches, Crochet, Fabrics & Techniques, Bedroom Furnishings, Curtains & Cushions, Loose Covers & Lampshades, Table Linen, Wall Panels, Children's Rooms, Care & Repair. All with loads of patterns and detailed instructions. A useful book for the DIY Lady of the House.
A heavy book for which Royal Mail Standard Parcels is the most economic postal service.
