BARNSLEY REMEMBERED
50 images of the past compiled by BRIAN ELLIOTT, Local Historian & Author and BRIAN SMAILES, Author & Family Historian.
The 50 images on this CD are all of Barnsley and include photographs of the town centre, schools, miners offices, churches and the Alhambra Cinema. A small number of more modern photographs are included so that the viewer can make comparisons.
Generally the photographs and 'oilette' style cards date from the early 1900's.
It is hoped that these pictures will bring back many memories of how Barnsley used to be in the 'good old days'.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A VIDEO CD - and is designed primarily to play on a computer. However it may play on newer DVD players but this is not guaranteed.
