HG 3101. THIS IS A 1:72 SCALE DIE-CAST MODEL OF A BRITISH W.W.II CRUISER TANK, A CROMWELL MkIV OF C SQUADRON, 5th ROYAL TANK REGIMENT, 22 ARMOURED BRIGADE, 7th ARMOURED DIVISION - aka 'Desert Rats' in post D-Day markings.
These looked very similar to the Centaur Tank. One of the best British tank designs of W.W.II with a good balance of main armament (75mm - basically a bored out 6pdr), protection (up to 76mm armour) and speed (max over 30mph). Later up-gunned examples were in service until the early '50s.
WELL DETAILED MODEL IN A CLEAR PLASTIC DISPLAY CASE, ALSO USEFUL FOR WAR-GAMING.
